2022 Spring Opening Ceremony

Baseball is back! Get ready for the kick-off of the Spring Season with ENLL's 2022 Opening Ceremony.

ENLL will be hosting Opening Ceremony on Saturday, February 26th starting at 9 AM on the Major/50/70 Field located at Mountain View Park (1160 S. Citrus, Escondido).

This is a special event to introduce all the teams, players and coaches for the season.

The expectation is that teams will need to arrive prior to the 9 AM start time (suggestion is 8:30 am as parking can fill up quick), dressed in regular-season uniforms, including their hat (sneakers are recommended during opening ceremony). Coach, Assistant Coach and team parent will escort the team onto the field in the order of division (T-ball will be grouped together, Rookies grouped together, Minor Bs grouped together, and so on...). Parents can observe from the bleachers or bring chairs. The team can carry their team banner onto the field - this is coordinated through each individual team.

Opening remarks will be made to welcome everyone to the ceremony, important information on upcoming league dates and activities will be announced and the introduction on the players from each team will be recognized - starting with T-ball first.

Please keep in mind this event can take approximately 2 - 2.5 hrs and that it will be sunny on the field - please make sure the kids have water and sunscreen.

Snack Bar will be open and merchandise will be sold.
